Power PTC – Conference Scheduling – Building the Schedule

You should NOT build or delete the master schedule while Parent-Teacher conferences are active!

Building the Master Schedule Overview

This section covers deleting any existing schedule and generating a new schedule that will be used for parent scheduling of parent-teacher conferences. Building the schedule basically takes your resources, and days and combines them into a format that can be used for parent scheduling. If you add/remove/modify a resource or a day, you would need to rebuild you master schedule. Typically building the schedule is one of the last things you will want to do, after you confirm that all other information is correctly entered into Power PTC.

Deleting the Master Schedule

Deleting the master schedule will remove any scheduling information that parents may have scheduled. You will need to run any post-conference reports prior to deleting the master schedule, as doing so removes all conference schedules. Deleting the schedule will have no effect on days or resources. If you have an existing master schedule, you will need to delete it before being able to generate it again.
