Net Neutrality Matters

My name is Charles Syperski and I am the President of CWS Software.  My company provides a very inexpensive Parent-Teacher Conference scheduling system for school districts.  On December 14th 2017, the FCC will vote to end net neutrality protections.  Without net neutrality, small businesses and start-ups, like CWS Software, may not stand a chance to compete with established businesses.  As a result, an Internet without net neutrality would likely be harmful for competition and innovation.

In our opinion, there is very little reason to repeal the protections in place for consumers.  The removal of net neutrality protections would only benefit businesses like Comcast, Verizon, Time Warner, AT&T, and other large ISPs.  Blocking and throttling by these companies is not acceptable (which they have done in the past).  Your ISP should provide the whole internet to you without any prejudice or favoritism.

The only way to prevent the removal of net neutrality is to contact your congress person and ask them to defend net neutraility.
